. ABOUT ME .

My name is SimC, also known as "Sim C (심시)" — a multidisciplinary creative based in the Netherlands. I work as a Food Artist, Freelance Chalkboard Artist, Graphic Designer, Singer-Songwriter, TVC Commercial Model, and Actress.

Creativity has always been a way for me to express what words sometimes cannot. I love exploring different ways of creating and allowing each one to tell its own story.

I discovered hand lettering while teaching myself calligraphy. What began as simply practicing letters gradually became a way of drawing with words. Combining lettering and illustration allows me to create playful, personal, and unique artwork inspired by the little quirks and beauty of everyday life.

Another important part of my artistic journey is painting. I create acrylic paintings inspired by biblical stories. These stories have a timeless quality that continues to inspire me. Their emotions, characters, struggles, hope, and messages give me many ways to explore through color, composition, and imagery. I enjoy interpreting these stories from my own perspective and translating what I feel and see into visual art.

Acting is another passion of mine. I enjoy stepping into different roles, discovering new characters, and experiencing different stories through acting. Every project and every creative process teaches me something new, and I learn a lot from the people I work with. I am always open to listening, learning, and growing with each experience.

My sketchbook is where I can be completely free. I love drawing with acrylic markers, experimenting with colors, characters, shapes, and spontaneous ideas. There are no rules in my sketchbook. It is a space to play, explore, and simply enjoy the process of creating. Sometimes a small sketch becomes a painting; sometimes it remains exactly what it was — a moment of creativity.

Whether I am painting, lettering, designing, cooking, performing, or creating something for a client, I want my work to connect with people. I hope to bring a little joy, curiosity, or reflection into someone's day.

For me, art is not only about creating something beautiful. It is about telling stories, expressing personality, sharing emotions, and finding meaning in the things that inspire me.
